TIGPS was set up in 2015 in the second planned city of India, Durgapur. The co-educational English medium school is affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 2430399). With an objective to shape the future of students through educational innovations, TIGPS Durgapur conducts the course of study for pre-primary to senior secondary levels by using smart board technology. The school not only focuses on intellectual development but also provides the students with opportunities to explore other dimensions of life. Multiple indoor and outdoor sports facilities, social awareness activities, events and activities like 'Tobacco and Smoking Free' camps organised by the 'Students Eco Club', the school Houses, and so on are an integral part of their curriculum. The school also provides health and hygiene care, PSA activity classes, a modern cafeteria and hostel accommodation to the students. The management and teachers of the school have designed all the aspects to kindle the innate urge within every child to learn and know.
